I was pretty shocked to read this. I honestly didn’t know that Facebook was originally made for college kids only. It honestly makes a lot of sense, but it is funny now because in my opinion (from what I have seen) is that the overwhelming majority of those on Facebook today are Millennials or older. Today, it is honestly strange to use Facebook as a part of Gen Z and if you do, it is really only to check up every once in a while on family members.
Reading that 96% of students being currently active on the platform as of 2020 surely surprised me and I still have trouble believing it. Everyone around my age that I have encountered has laughed if I ask if they have Facebook let alone actively use it. Huh, guess we learn something new everyday.
